The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana Young Professionals (HCCLYP) fosters growth, development, and resources for up-and-coming Hispanic business leaders. HCCLYP achieves this by hosting events through the year that are specifically tailored to the young Hispanic community.
One of the greatest missions we have as a committee is raising scholarship funds that are made available to applicants of Hispanic heritage who are seeking post-high school education, whether it be at a university or trade school. So far this year we hosted an AI Lunch & Learn, Inspire & Empower Event, and a Networking Night. The remainder of the year will bring valuable opportunities for young Hispanic leaders. Events to look forward to include:
• Food Drive: HCCLYP joins with community partners to distribute food to local communities.
• DÃa de Los Muertos Festival: A celebration of this cultural event through an ofrenda, performances, authentic food, and vendors.
• Holiday Social: We award scholarships to selected applicants and thank all who have contributed to the successes of the year!
