METAIRIE, LA – Local dent repair shop X-A-Dent will hold its first “Dents for Kids Toy Drive” at its Metairie facility on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 730 Papworth Ave., in Metairie, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The company will be trading automotive dent repairs for unwrapped Christmas toys. X-A-Dent will repair one door ding free to all those who provide a new unwrapped toy valued at $25 or more. The toys will be donated to One Heart NOLA, a local charity serving foster children and children in crisis.
Scott Clark, owner of X-A-Dent, is coordinating the event and hopes to collect hundred of toys for local youngsters. “We see this as a great way to give back to the community” Clark said. “These children deserve to have a great Christmas so we are hoping folks will come out to our event and help us spread some Christmas cheer to some wonderful kids.”
X-A-Dent has already started collecting toys and monetary donations for the toy drive.
