NEW ORLEANS — There are many festivals around New Orleans and all over the world being cancelled, but none will be missed more than this month’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. In honor of one of the city’s premier events, WYES has updated its programming on Saturday, April 25th — what would have been the Fest’s first Saturday — to bring viewers a day of Jazz Fest inspired specials celebrating the food, music and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana. Though we know it’s not the same, we hope the gesture will make the day a little brighter for WYES viewers.
On Saturday, April 25th viewers can enjoy a front row seat of Jazz Fest inspired programming all day long.

New to WYES, fans of Chef Kevin Belton can join him live online for WYES’ first watch party on Saturday, April 25th. Viewers will be able to engage online with Chef from 10:00 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. during the Jazz Fest episode from his third series — KEVIN BELTON’S NEW ORLEANS CELEBRATIONS. In the episode, Chef prepares Buffalo Chicken Dip, Stuffed Bread Shrimp Remoulade Po-boy and Louisiana Seafood Pasta.
Chef looks forward to sharing stories from behind the scenes and answering questions regarding the episode. Coming soon, fans wanting to participate will be able to register for free online at wyes.org.
