NEW ORLEANS – Veteran meteorologist Chris Franklin will be joining the WWL-TV Pinpoint Weather Team on a part-time basis.
“We’re very fortunate to add a well-known and respected meteorologist to the highest rated weather team in New Orleans,” said WWL-TV News Director Keith Esparros. “Chris grew up here, and will give viewers what they have come to expect from the station on which most New Orleanians rely for news and weather information.”
Franklin will help out wherever needed, but primarily on the weekends. “I’m excited to be joining a team with such a passion for the weather and a passion for the City,” said Franklin. “There was no way I was leaving New Orleans!”
