NEW ORLEANS – Meaghan McCormack, the World Trade Center New Orleans vice president of marketing and communications, has received the 2019 Excelencia – Young Leader Award from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana. Details were shared in a press release.
The annual Excelencia Award honors an individual or company for achievements and active engagement with the Hispanic business community.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors of the World Trade Center New Orleans (WTCNO), we are extremely proud of Meaghan’s recognition by the Hispanic Chamber,” said Tom Spiers, WTCNO chairman. “Her hard work in and support of the international business community creates opportunities for growth and prosperity.”
McCormack was selected for the Young Leader Award because of her extensive work in international business and trade. Her work with numerous international organizations and companies, coupled with her determination to create impactful partnerships that support a healthy business climate in New Orleans are unprecedented. The Chamber also recognized McCormack as a role model for other businesses and individuals in the area for providing unconditional support of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana and its programs throughout the years.
“Meaghan leads by example of how the World Trade Center New Orleans for 75 years has driven relationships, resource development and business networks for our members and clients.
