NEW ORLEANS – Large balloon sculptures, fashion and interactive demonstrations are slated for this Sunday, April 10, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the The Festival of Balloons inside the Grand Ballrooms B-D at the Hilton Riverside Hotel located at 2 Poydras St.
The Festival of Balloons, where the world’s best balloon entertainers and sculptors from 58 countries and more than six million balloons convene, is an opportunity for the public to view the balloon art that will be created during the 2016 World Balloon Convention including large mind-boggling balloon sculptures, balloon figurines, balloon fashion dresses, balloon hats, balloon cars, balloon superheroes.
All inflated works of art will be available for festival attendees to view and photograph. In addition to interactive balloon demonstrations and people draped in balloon costumes, captivating balloon entertainers will also provide hands-on demonstrations detailing how to twist balloons into fun characters.
Tickets to the Festival of Balloons are $10 and children 12 and under are free.
