Witry Awarded Member Of The Year By Women's Council Of Realtors

NEW ORLEANS – Katie Witry of Gardner Realtors has been chosen as Member of the Year by the Women’s Council of Realtors, New Orleans Metropolitan Chapter. This award was earned based on her exemplary work in restoring professionalism, community focus and value as the Vice President of Membership of her chapter.

Having served as a member of the organization since 2006, Witry was recognized for her dedication and loyalty to the Women’s Council. In addition to her service as Vice President of Membership, Witry exemplifies a commitment to the local community through her work as a board member of the Preservation Research Center, Council reps said. As such, Witry developed three continuing education courses with original content, approved by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission.

“Katie has displayed a dedication to the Women’s Council and to the Realtor community as a whole through her commitment to skilled professionalism and a community-minded approach to real estate,” says Liz Tardo, Women’s Council of Realtors, New Orleans Metropolitan Chapter President.

Witry’s award designations include being voted by Gambit readers as one of the Top 3 Best Realtors in the Metro Area 2011-2016, as well as being named one of the 25 Top Real Estate Producers by New Orleans CityBusiness 2013-2015.

Witry works with a wide variety of clients including neighborhood associations, church groups, investment purchasers and first-time homebuyers. In an effort to best serve her clients according to their specific needs, Witry created a group called the Witry Collective—a collaboration with three of her colleagues, which operates under Gardner Realtors. Witry and her group pride themselves on the keen ability to walk clients through each necessary step in making the smartest real estate transaction for their own situations, Council reps said.
