NEW ORLEANS –The Grill Room at Windsor Court is now offering an elegant, affordable and convenient alternative to the standard weekday business lunch. Perfect for busy professionals working in and near the Central Business District (CBD), the new “meat plus three” plate lunch special is available for less than $20 and promises the same gracious service that is synonymous with Windsor Court.
Patrons will begin their lunch by choosing one of five proteins, ranging from Gulf Fish Almondine to Korean Style Brisket. To round out the meal, guests can select three options from an extensive menu of 12 side dishes, including Heirloom Tomatoes with Ricotta, Corn and Field Pea Succotash, Truffled Mac and Cheese, and Seasonal Vegetable Farro Casserole. The new special is further elevated by a light dessert and optional selection of $2 martinis featuring Tito’s Vodka and Plymouth Gin.
“This is something unique in the New Orleans fine dining landscape,” said Chef de Cuisine Daniel Causgrove. “We hope that busy CBD professionals will be able to take time out to enjoy some of our trademark dishes, given the variety of options they can try with this lunch.”
Aesthetically inspired by the traditional Japanese bento box, the lunch is served on four separate small plates. Gastronomically, the menu stays true to Chef Causgrove’s signature American cuisine – blending Louisiana-focused Southern fare with refined technique and fresh, local ingredients. And the $19.84 price point? That’s a nod to the hotel’s founding in 1984.
“We wanted to offer a superior daytime dining option for professionals. Our new lunch special allows guests a first-rate experience, combining The Grill Room’s celebrated cuisine and elegance with efficient service,” said Joey Worley, Food and Beverage Director at Windsor Court.
The special lunch menu is available Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
