Willie Mae's, Fiorella's Café Provide First Taste Of National Fried Chicken Festival At Press Conference Today

NEW ORLEANS – Spears Group president and CEO and National Fried Chicken Festival producer Cleveland Spears, III and New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation (NOTMC) president and CEO Mark Romig will join festival sponsors, partners and business leaders for a special press conference today, at the Woldenberg Riverfront Park Capital One Pavilion, St. Louis Street Entrance, at 10:30 a.m. Additionally, event organizers will announce their plan to partner with a Houston charity to aid Hurricane Harvey victims.

         Willie Mae's Scotch House and the Original Fiorella's Cafe will serve their famous fried chicken dishes and Chicken on the Bone Band will kick-off the press conference. 

         The National Fried Chicken Festival presented by Raising Cane's will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23 and Sunday, Sept. 24 at Woldenberg Riverfront Park. Organizers are planning to host more than 100,000 festivalgoers over the two-day weekend.
