Gates, a board certified pediatrician and partner at Westside Clinics, AMC in Marrero, LA, has been named a “Torchbearer” by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Greater New Orleans Chapter for her dedication to championing sustainable solutions to curbing healthcare disparities.
Dr. Gates is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and received her medical degree from the LSU Health Sciences Center.
