MARRERO, LA – West Jefferson Hospital Foundation welcomed Susan D. Trantham as its new executive director. Trantham comes to West Jefferson from a position as the Director of Development for the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy/ West Virginia University Foundation, Inc. Prior to this, she was the Director of Development for the West Virginia University Eye Institute and West Virginia University (WVU) School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology. Her career spans more than 25 years of non-profit fundraising.
Trantham is a member of the American Association of Healthcare Philanthropy, the Association of American Medical Colleges Group on Institutional Advancement, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy.
“We are happy to welcome Susan Trantham as our executive director and major gifts officer,” said Woody Oge, president of the West Jefferson Hospital Foundation. “We also look forward to helping her become further acquainted with our region. Susan is already extremely passionate about our mission and is very happy to relocate close to her family.”
