The Louisiana Economic Development (LED) team has provided resources on their website to help determine best steps for your business to recover as Congress works to finalize elements of a national support bill to restore our economy. The LED site even includes a rumor control Twitter feed to help distinguish between rumors and facts.

We are closely monitoring progress in Washington D.C. as Congress works to pass a bill to help small businesses and helps with people who have lost their jobs and incomes to no fault of their own. We will soon be unpacking the legislation when it is passed in Washington and will clarify what it means to our industry and your businesses.  

The President declaring a disaster for our state will unlock additional resources and make us eligible for more reimbursement as well.

The Mayor’s press conference this afternoon re-emphasized the need for everyone to stay home and practice social distancing to help flatten the curve of COVID-19 patients that our healthcare professionals are predicting will surge in the next week or two.
