Warren Easton Charter High School To Hold Golf Tournament To Benefit School

NEW ORLEANS – On Friday, Nov. 11, Warren Easton Charter High School will hold its annual golf tournament, at the North Course at City Park, 1051 Filmore Ave., in New Orleans, to benefit the Warren Easton Foundation and Hall of Fame Scholarship Fund, which awards college scholarships to graduating seniors.

         Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with a Putting Contest at 11:00 a.m. and a Shotgun Start at 12:00 p.m.

         Format of the tournament will be 4-man scramble.

         An awards ceremony will take place after the last ball drops with prizes given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners closest to pin and the longest drive. Hole-in-one prizes include golf packages to Hawaii and the Palms Las Vegas.

         The cost for green fee and cart will be $75 per golfer or $300 per foursome; refreshments are included.
