NEW ORLEANS – The Urban League of Louisiana will host its inaugural Veterans Small Business Breakfast and Resources Summit in celebration of veteran entrepreneurship and as an extension of National Veterans Small Business Week (Oct. 30 – Nov. 3) on Friday, Nov. 17, at the Urban League of Louisiana, 4640 South Carrollton Ave., Suite 110, from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Breakfast will be available starting at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
During this event, organizers will shine a light on veteran's entrepreneurship in Southeast Louisiana and provide opportunities for resources-sharing, storytelling and connections. Veteran entrepreneurs will hear about the many resources that are available to them and their spouses to start or grow their businesses. Three veteran clients will also talk about their success in using various resources to support their business goals.
Aspiring and existing veteran-owned businesses and/ or their spouses will be welcome to attend this special event, organizers said.
There is no cost to attend, but seating is limited.
