Verizon Offers Smartphone Protection Plans, Just In Time For Mardi Gras

NEW ORLEANS – Cracked screens and water damage are just a few of the unfortunate accidents that can happen at any time to a smartphone, especially during a “Throw me something mister!” situation during Mardi Gras season. According to Motorola, a smartphone display cracks every 2 seconds and 37 percent of smartphone owners have experienced the pain of a cracked or shattered display.

To help customers who may experience these issues, Verizon has opened enrollment between Jan. 11 and March 10 for customers who want the extra piece of mind provided by one of four equipment protection options.
