NEW ORLEANS – The Vieux Carré Commission (VCC) announced that they will consider the removal of the Battle of Liberty Place obelisk monument at a public hearing on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, in City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1300 Perdido St., at 1:30 p.m.
At the VCC meeting, there will be a public comment period.
Those who cannot attend the meeting may watch the public hearing here.
