NEW ORLEANS – Daniel A. Schwertz is the newest partner at Valbridge Property Advisors – South Louisiana. He also has been named the firm’s vice president of business development.
Schwertz graduated cum laude from Mississippi College in 2018, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in foreign language and international trade, including travel abroad study at Colegio Delibes in Salamanca, Spain.
From there he began his career in commercial real estate appraisal as a research analyst with another major real estate appraisal firm, attaining the Appraiser Trainee License in Mississippi, before starting a new position with Valbridge’s New Orleans office, where he was promoted to strategist, business development and systems processes.
In 2020, Schwertz moved to Los Angeles to serve a two-year campus ministry internship with Reformed University Fellowship on the campus of UCLA. In 2022, he returned to Valbridge, where he served as operations manager until becoming partner and vice president of business development in January 2024.
When not managing the firm, Schwertz operates a small nonprofit in Los Angeles called Hope for LA, dedicated to engaging churchgoers in the city to serve the homeless, support foster youth, and provide for families in need. He also enjoys Dodgers games, concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, and frequent trips back home to New Orleans.
