BATON ROUGE –Â The Urban League of Louisiana will host a discussion about the current educational landscape, challenges and strategies for school leaders on Jan. 23 at the Water Campus, 1110 River Road South in Baton Rouge.“Having a strong and transparent accountability system is important to school improvement,” said the group. “And it takes strong and effective leaders to support equity and achievement for all students, especially for children with the fewest advantages.”
The guest speaker is John B. King Jr., Education Trust CEO and former U.S. Secretary of Education.
