NEW ORLEANS – The Urban League of Louisiana will host a virtual town hall featuring state Superintendent of Education Cade Brumley at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10.

“We are continuing the conversation we started at our Empowerment and Policy Conference last February, with a focus on preparing for a new school year in the ongoing pandemic. We will also feature a panel of education leaders, parents and students who will discuss navigating the upcoming school year. The Urban League of Louisiana’s Advancing Education Equity reports paint the picture of how subgroups of students are doing across school systems and show that we have a lot of work to do – and that we have to keep working together.”
