The Power of the Pivot: Knowing When to Change Direction
The economic, political and environmental landscape of the United States is ever-changing. Now more than ever, entrepreneurs must recommit themselves to growth and profitability if they want to survive and thrive. Business owners must become strategic and intentional in building profitable, sustainable businesses that last beyond themselves. This may require a complete pivot, or change, from the original business plan or the current business model. So what is pivoting and how do business owners know when it's time to do it?
During this session, entrepreneurs will gain valuable insights into the power of pivoting, specific ways in which to adjust your business model, and ways to ensure that you are changing course in the right direction.

Developing a Profitable and Sustainable Business Model
Your business model reflects your hypotheses about what customers want and how they want it. It also indicates how the enterprise can organize to best meet those needs, get paid for doing so, and make a profit.
During this session, aspiring and early stage entrepreneurs can learn a strategic approach to developing a business model that will produce long-term growth and sustainability.
