Urban League Of Louisiana Hosts Branding For Small Businesses Event

 

BATON ROUGE, La. — On Wednesday, April 18 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. the Urban League of Louisiana Women's Business Resource Center will host "Branding for Small Businesses: Start with Your Why" at the EBR Parish Central Library. The library is located at 7711 Goodwood Boulevard Baton Rouge, LA 70806. The event costs $10.

During this session, entrepreneurs will learn the fundamental truths about branding, such as the difference between "branding" and "visual identity." This workshop will also help to clarify some of the confusion and provide some direction on how to make your own business stronger inside and out, with some specific steps on developing (or re-developing) your own approach to branding.

Participants will be guided through a thought-process to uncover their "why" which should be the basis for creating an effective brand. Garnered from Simon Sinek's "Start With Why?" the process of uncovering your "why" is critical. "Why would a consumer work with your company? Use your product? If you really want to stand out from your competition, you need to have a clearly defined "Why?" for your business.
