NEW ORLEANS – Paradigm Gardens’ Spring Pizza & Pie series kicks off tonight, Wednesday, March 15, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
In early January, 2015 the quarter acre lot on South Rampart and Clio Streets, a block from the New Orleans Mission, was just another overgrown blighted New Orleans property. But, within weeks, the two-man team of Joel Hitchcock and Jimmy Seely transformed the property, removing more than 2,000 bricks by hand, brining in truckloads of manure, building seating, a goat pen, a quail coop, bee hives, a brick wood fired oven and grill and a stage for live music.
With the help of member restaurant Patois, Coquette and Primitivo, Paradigm Gardens has put together an unforgettable experience, reps said.
Tonight, the urban farm hosts the first of a six installment Spring Pizza & Pie series featuring New Orleans’ top chefs and vinyl DJs in the Central City magical oasis.
This first night features Ancora Pizzeria, Turkey and the Wolf, The Pupusa Lady and Window Sill Pies as well as brews from NOLA Brewery and cocktails from Old New Orleans Rum.
DJ Doug Funnie will be spinning some funky vinyl tunes all night long to keep the crowd grooving under the stars.
All Paradigm Gardens events are BYOB friendly.
Entry is $35.
