NEW ORLEANS – (Updated 6:15 p.m. Thursday) – All interstate roadways in the New Orleans area are open to traffic, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation. The only roadway currently closed because of ice is I-110 in Baton Rouge.
The I-10 westbound at the Twin Spans was the last interstate to open, around 4 p.m.
Crews are working to de-ice I-10, the department states on its website.
