Following the conclusion of the contest, there will be a brief networking event where prizes will be awarded to top local performers. Here, all participants can meet potential employers, learn from industry leaders and network with fellow students from across the state who are passionate about technology.

“As Louisiana’s technology sector grows, it is vital that university students studying computer science are offered the ability to learn new skills and test those skills against those of their peers worldwide," said Walter Gugenberger, Flow Digital CEO.

Founded in 2007 by Austrian corporation Catalysts, this real-time international STEM tournament featured more than 4,500 university students in 50 cities worldwide in 2017. Organizers expect the competition to grow even larger in 2018.
