NEW ORLEANS — The United States Chamber of Commerce has awarded the Jefferson Chamber with the prestigious 5-Star Accreditation for its sound policies, effective organizational procedures, and positive impact on the community.
Accreditation is the only national program that recognizes chambers for their effective organizational procedures and community involvement. To receive Accreditation, a chamber must meet minimum standards in their operations and programs, including areas of governance, government affairs, communications, and technology. This extensive self-review took nine months to complete.
Celebrating their 21st anniversary, the Jefferson Chamber essentially provides three things to its members:
- Advocacy – the voice of business to create a better business climate.
- Education – quality resources to help businesses grow.
- Connection – people want to do business with people that they know, like, trust. We provide unsurpassed first-class opportunities to develop sound relationships.
