NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Tulane University's business and writing programs will benefit from a $3.5 million gift.
The school said in a news release Wednesday the money is coming from Carole B. Boudreaux and her husband, Kenneth.
The gift creates a scholarship fund for the school's A.B. Freeman School of Business graduate students. It was also create the Kenneth B. Boudreaux MBA '67 Professorship in Finance. The school said $2 million will go for those efforts.
The private university also said that $1.5 million is going to create the Carole Barnette Boudreaux NC '65 Creative Writing Endowed Fund. The School of Liberal Arts will use the money to endow two complementary literary series, a great writers series and an emerging writers series.
