NEW ORLEANS – TruFund Financial Services will host a 3-day "Contractors Boot Camp" in New Orleans beginning Tuesday, July 12, through Thursday, July 14, 2016, to provide assistance and guidance to underserved small businesses and non-profit organizations.
This professional development event will take place at 935 Gravier St., 6th floor conference room, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
At no cost, attendees will enjoy three industry specific courses, which will include: "Success Through Certifications and Accessing Capital Growth" on Tuesday, July 12, "How to Write a Powerful Capability Statement and Introduction to Financial Statements" on Wednesday, July 13, and "Introduction to Surety Bonding and Business Pitch" on Thursday, July 14.
Not only is the event free, participants will also qualify for an opportunity to compete in a "Business Pitch Contest" for a chance to win $5,000 in professional services on the final night along with Small and Emerging Business Development (SEBD) certification assistance.
