NEW ORLEANS – With libations flowing in the Crescent City during the annual Tales of the Cocktail conference, brandy aficionados will rejoice on Thursday, July 20, when Trinity, 1117 Decatur St., teams up with Copper & Kings American Brandy and Bittercube Bitters for “The Dynamic Trio” cocktail soiree from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Guests can savor unique renditions of the classic American brandy cocktail whipped up by Copper & Kings’ very own Chris Wilkins, along with Trinity’s bar guru Nate D’Angelo and Ira Koplowitz from Bittercube Bitters.
The savvy mixologists will offer six specialty cocktails catering to all taste buds. Drinks include Sangria with Copper & Kings Immature Brandy and Bittercube Jamaican # 2 bitters; La Femme Blanche – Copper & Kings Butchertown absinthe, fresh cream, orange Oleo Saccharum and Bittercube orange bitters; Old Fashioned with Copper & Kings American Brandy, Demerara syrup, and Bittercube Trinity bitters; a creative twist on the classic Tom Collins with Copper & King’s Immature Brandy, lemon, Bittercube Cherry Bark vanilla bitters and seltzer; Sidecar with Copper & Kings American Brandy, fresh squeezed lemon juice, Pierre Ferrand dry curacao and Bittercube Bolivar bitters; and a Sazerac featuring Copper & Kings Butchertown Brandy, Demerara, Bittercube orange bitters, Cochineal-infused orange bitters with a Copper & Kings absinthe blanche rinse. Imbibers can choose to accompany their cocktails with tasty dishes from executive chef Michael Isolani.
