KENNER, La. – On March 1, Boyd Gaming Corporation and Treasure Chest Casino announced the dates of upcoming job fairs to fill hundreds of positions at the new land-based gaming entertainment destination. A $5,000 hiring bonus will be offered to all new hires who join the Treasure Chest team. That bonus also is being extended to active Treasure Chest team members. Overall, this totals a $3 million investment by Treasure Chest in both new and current team members over the next few months.
There will be four job fairs at the Treasure Chest Employment Center, located inside the Clarion Hotel at 2829 Williams Blvd. in Kenner. There are approximately 300 open positions available, with most jobs being in food and beverage services to support the four new restaurants within the casino. Other positions needed include dealers, floor personnel, slot attendants, cashiers, security officers and valet attendants. Treasure Chest welcomes applicants without prior experience and offers training for all positions. The dates and times of upcoming job fairs are:
- Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 26 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 23 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
