NEW ORLEANS – Travel Channel UK will present the premiere of Nutopia's "Metropolis," stories hidden in plain sight from the world's greatest cities, to an estimated 92 million viewers, on Thursday, September 24, 2015.
The television special devotes the first hour to one of the world's most romantic cities, Paris, revealing aspects rarely seen.
New Orleans is perfectly paired in the second hour, which is rich in content with the sounds, sights and tastes that define America's most European destination.
The Royal Sonesta New Orleans, its Restaurant R'evolution and Irvin Mayfield's Jazz Playhouse will all be featured on the international travel show.

Restaurant R'evolution is a 6,000 square-foot fine dining restaurant which seats 160, and opened to the public in June of 2012. The restaurant is the first joint venture for chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto's restaurant development company, Home on the Range. Located in the heart of the French Quarter at 777 Bienville St. in the Royal Sonesta, Restaurant R'evolution's cuisine is a modern and imaginative reinterpretation of classic Cajun and Creole styles. The restaurant is a celebration of the cultural fusion of the food and flavor that has shaped the culinary landscape of New Orleans.
Dinner at Restaurant R'evolution is served Monday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 5:00 p.m.
The popular Sunday Jazz Brunch is offered from 10:00 a.m.
Irvin Mayfield's Jazz Playhouse, also inside the Royal Sonesta New Orleans, is an intimate jazz club voted the #1 pick in New Orleans by the Travel Channel's Samantha Brown and was named as one of the Top 5 Live Music Venues by Travel & Leisure Magazine. The Playhouse features live Jazz seven nights a week.
Travel Channel UK’s "Metropolis," featuring Paris will air 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. CST and the episode featuring New Orleans will air 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. CST.
