Tourism Campaign Promotes Holidays in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation (NOTMC) and French Quarter Festivals, Inc. (FQFI) announced the 2019 Holiday New Orleans Style campaign and promotional tactics to attract visitors to the city during this year’s holiday season. The campaign embraces the unique celebration of the holiday season in New Orleans and ties into the overall tourism branding, encouraging visitors to leave with a story, not a souvenir.

“We are always excited to invite visitors to experience New Orleans, especially during this coming holiday season,” said Mark Romig, president and CEO of New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation. “No other city can match the variety of sights, sounds, tastes, history, and culture that New Orleans offers.”

NOTMC created television ads that have been running nationwide, with an emphasis on certain cities like Houston and Atlanta. The ads push viewers to visit www.holidayneworleans.com.

The campaign began on November 1 and will continue through December. French Quarter Festivals, Inc. will produce the 2019 holiday guidebook for locals and tourists.

Visitors and locals are invited to share their favorite New Orleans holiday stories on Instagram and Twitter by tagging their photos with #OneTimeinNOLA.
