NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute is hosting an open house and make-your-own pizza party for prospective students from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, March 7 at 725 Howard Avenue. All prospective students and their families will have an opportunity to meet NOCHI chefs, tour the facilities and learn more about the nonprofit’s accelerated six-month program. Registration is not required, but registrants will receive free NOCHI goodies and can RSVP at nochi.eventbrite.com. NOCHI offers certificate programs in culinary arts and baking arts that cover 25 subjects and 650 hours of intensive hands-on instruction.
NOCHI offers a “platform for professional and personal growth, increasing access and minimizing barriers to career pathways while supporting the promotion and economic development of the culinary arts and hospitality industry.”
