TLC Engineering For Architecture Hires Senior Electrical Engineer

NEW ORLEANS – Orien Butler has joined TLC Engineering for Architecture’s New Orleans office as a senior electrical engineer, bringing more than 10 years of experience in the commercial and industrial sectors.

         Prior to joining TLC, Butler was a project manager at a well-established mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering firm in southern Louisiana. Butler has extensive experience designing electrical systems, such as fire alarm systems, electrical power transmission and distribution, lighting, security systems, telecommunications, and public address systems.

         “Orien is a excellent addition to our team in the New Orleans office,” said Jason Heffelmire, director of operations for TLC’s Gulf Coast Region. “His engineering and project management skills will be a great asset as we continue to grow in the New Orleans market.”

         TLC opened the New Orleans office in 2014 and has found success in a wide array of market segments. Butler is currently working on projects for the Historic New Orleans Collection Restoration of Seignouret-Brulatour House in the French Quarter, which includes restoring the existing house and adding a new gallery space, and the new Inspired Living Assisted Living Facility with Memory Care wing in Kenner, LA, which will be a three-story, 104,750- square-foot building.

         Butler earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University and is a licensed professional engineer in Louisiana.
