NEW ORLEANS –The Ruby Slipper Cafe, a local breakfast and brunch spot offering Southern favorites at 4 locations throughout New Orleans, has launched a new app-based loyalty program.
Customers will be able to turn to their mobile devices to seek and earn free rewards and discounts by using the Thanx mobile app each time they dine at any Ruby Slipper location.
“Our new rewards program is the perfect fit for The Ruby Slipper Cafe because it allows us to reward our loyal and VIP customers while also giving them a voice,” said owner Jennifer Weishaupt. “We are always looking for opportunities that benefit our patrons, which is why we are pleased to be the first to offer the Thanx app in the New Orleans area.”
New users receive a free side item and begin earning $5 off a future purchase just for signing up and downloading the app.
Café reps said the new mobile app highlights The Ruby Slipper’s commitment to its patrons, making it easy for them to earn free rewards and discounts with one simple click. Additionally, every customer has an opinion and the Thanx app allows them to communicate directly with the restaurant and rate their dining experience. This also allows The Ruby Slipper to follow up with patrons one-on-one where it may not otherwise have the chance.

Ruby Slipper Café reps said their restaurant was also the first in the New Orleans area to use the NoWait app, which allows patrons to add a name to the wait list before they physically arrive at the café. This technology decreases wait times, offering tourists and locals alike easy access to their favorite meal.
The Ruby Slipper Cafe is a family-owned and operated business, and open to serve diners 363 days a year at four New Orleans locations (Marigny, Mid-City, Magazine St. and Canal St.), one in Pensacola, Fla., and its newest Orange Beach AL location opening Summer 2016.
