The Rivertown Theaters For The Performing Arts To Hold Auditions For Broadway Musical Favorite ‘1776’

KENNER, LA – The Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts will hold auditions for Broadway musical classic “1776” on Sunday, August 14, and Monday, August 15, 2016, at the theater located at 325 Minor St., in the heart of Rivertown, Kenner, by appointment only.

         Director A.J. Allegra said he is looking for men ranging from 16-years-old and older, as well as two women aged from their 20s to 50s.

         All roles are currently open.

         Musical Director Alan Payne is asking for a brief selection from a Broadway musical; 32 bars or so only. An accompanist will be provided.

         Headshots and resumes are requested but not required.

         Rehearsals will begin no sooner than Sunday, September 25.

         Rehearsals will be Sunday – Thursday evenings and some Saturday mornings. Major conflicts with the rehearsal schedule will not be considered.

         The show runs for 10 performances from Friday, November 4, through Sunday, November 20.
