NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce (NORBCC) will host a “Biz to Biz” Breakfast and Trade Fair on Friday, December 11, 2015, in the Celestin and Storyville Ballrooms at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, 601 Loyola Ave. The breakfast will feature keynote speaker Clifton Taulbert, renowned author, speaker, and businessman.
Registration for the event will begin at 8:00 a.m., with breakfast following at 9:00 a.m. The trade fair will immediately follow the breakfast at 10:30 a.m. and run through 2:00 p.m.
Unlike traditional trade fairs, large companies from across the Greater New Orleans area will have a unique opportunity to directly engage with the more than 90 small business owners participating. Using this approach, the NORBCC expects the trade fair to generate new business opportunities for small businesses.
Trade Fair booths are still available for purchase at $495 for non-members, which includes a one-year membership to NORBCC and two complimentary breakfast tickets, or $395 for members, which includes two complimentary breakfast tickets. The trade fair is free and open to the public.
“We are so excited to host this amazing event for our small business owners,” said Michelle Gobert, Board Chair of the NORBCC. “We expect our trade fair will lead to strategic partnerships between small business owners and large companies.”
The “Biz to Biz” Breakfast keynote speaker, Clifton Taulbert, is the President and CEO of The Freemount Corporation – an international human capital development company that services large and small businesses. Taulbert has been featured as a keynote speaker at the United Nations Assembly Hall, and as a guest on Voice of America, at the Library of Congress and Supreme Court. Taulbert is also the author of 14 books; including the Pulitzer-Nominated, “The Last Train North.”
In addition, Cheryl R. Teamer, Senior Vice President for Public Affairs at the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, will be a featured speaker at the “Biz to Biz” Breakfast.
Individual breakfast tickets are still available for purchase.
