NEW ORLEANS — The National Urban League, in partnership with the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), will host a three-day Career Connections booth at The Essence Festival on Friday, July 1 through Sunday, July 3, 2016, to provide the ultimate networking opportunity for college students, young professionals and entrepreneurs. This professional development booth will be placed in the Money and Power Expo from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on the first floor of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center each day.
Career Connections will offer a unique opportunity to meet HCA representatives, learn more about the company and uncover career opportunities. HCA, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, is currently hiring top talent for open positions in the health and technology fields – Nursing, Physical Therapy, IT, Medical Billing, Coding and more.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to improve their portfolios and prepare for success with featured sessions from 15 acclaimed professional speakers. Workshop sessions will include: "Daily Meet Ups for Healthcare Professionals," "Resume Rehab," "Career Coaching" and "How to Find Your Dream Job in Healthcare."
