METAIRIE, LA – The McDonnel Group, LLC, a provider of commercial construction services, announced the promotion of Stacey Schexnayder to vice president of marketing. She will oversee McDonnel’s marketing operations including strategy, planning and finance while guiding the firm’s overall brand.

“Stacey has placed our firm in the forefront of the architecture/ engineering/ construction (AEC) marketing sector and continues to position our firm for success,” said Allan McDonnel, president of McDonnel. “I cannot think of anyone that could do a better job of this and that I would want to have represent us in the market place.”

Schexnayder joined the firm in 2011 as Marketing Director and has worked closely with McDonnel’s executive team to ensure a clear brand image and consistent messaging. She actively participates in McDonnel’s annual strategic planning sessions. She led McDonnel’s rebranding initiative for which the firm received a national Marketing Communications Award from the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) in the Corporate Image category.
