The Galatoire Foundation To Present Edible Schoolyard New Orleans, The Good Shepherd School With Holiday Table Auction Funds

NEW ORLEANS – This Friday, March 17, The Galatoire Foundation will present checks to two local nonprofits, Edible Schoolyard New Orleans and The Good Shepherd School, at Galatoire’s Restaurant, 209 Bourbon St., at 1:45 p.m.

The proceeds were raised by the restaurant’s Christmas and Mardi Gras table auctions, held on Dec. 5, 2016 and Jan. 30.

Proceeds from the Galatoire’s table auctions will help Edible Schoolyard continue in its mission to teach children to make healthy connections through food. Galatoire’s table auction donations will also contribute to The Good Shepherd School’s efforts to provide low-income urban youth with an extended-day, year-round, quality education, integrated with personal, moral and spiritual development, and continued guidance during the students' further education.
