NEW ORLEANS – The French Market, a sponsor of French Quarter Fest 2016, will play host to live local opera, traditional jazz, and international music from Thursday, April 7, through Sunday, April 10, 2016.
The 2 French Market stages include the French Market Traditional Jazz Stage at French Market Place and Gov. Nicholls Street and the French Market International Stage in Dutch Alley between Dumaine and St. Phillip Streets, Friday through Sunday.
Opera at The Upper Pontalba takes place today, from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and features a free performance by members of the New Orleans Opera Association on the balcony of the Upper Pontalba on St. Peter Street in Jackson Square.
