NEW ORLEANS – To commemorate 40 years of service in New Orleans, The Country Club, nestled in the historic Bywater neighborhood at 634 Louisa St., is inviting the community to celebrate tonight, Thursday, July 20, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The free and open to the public event will include complimentary cake and sparkling wine, as well as happy hour specials throughout the evening.
The Country Club will also launch a special three-course dinner menu for two, to be available through Thursday, Aug. 31 for $40.
Country Club reps said 2017 has been a year of rejuvenation for property. After completing an extensive renovation, the restaurant revamped its entire dining experience, including its food, wine and cocktail offerings to complement the fresh interior and exterior upgrades, they said. Its new dining atmosphere is spearheaded by Executive Chef Chris Barbato, former chef de cuisine at Commander’s Palace.
Country Club reps said there are a number of ways to celebrate with The Country Club this summer:
• Treat yourself to the $40 three-course special menu for two, available through Aug. 31
• Enjoy the COOLinary lunch special, available Aug. 1 – 31
• Plan ahead and reserve your seat during New Orleans Restaurant Week (Sept. 11 – 17)
• Sip a glass of wine on their porch on a sultry, Louisiana afternoon
The Country Club is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. All patrons must be 21 or older for entrance onto the premises.
