The Conference Centre on 11

Let’s Meet Up On 11!

If you’re looking to host a meeting, seminar, or conference in the heart of the New Orleans Central Business District, check out the eleventh floor of the Pan-American Life Center. That’s where the newly renovated Conference Centre on 11 boasts customizable meeting rooms, state-of-the-art AV features, and delicious, flexible catering.

With the largest auditorium in the area having a seating capacity of one hundred forty-five people, The Conference Centre on 11 is serious about seminars.  It also has fourteen customizable meeting rooms, five modern boardrooms with the latest built-in presentation technology, eight upgraded classrooms, and a ballroom with a seating capacity of ninety people. All the rooms are soundproof with high-speed internet.

“We have the capacity and flexibility to meet the needs of a wide range of customers whether they’re based in New Orleans or they’re coming here from out of town,” said The Conference Centre on 11’s General Manager, Brandon Falls. “We can host any style of gathering, meeting or conference and provide attendees with great food, too.”

Falls brings a wealth of experience to the role of General Manager, a position he accepted two years ago. A professional chef with a culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of New Orleans and culinary certifications from Tulane University, Falls knows how to keep customers coming back for more.

Falls began his career as a personal chef to the 60th Mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, who was in office from 2002 to 2010. When Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005, Falls changed course and joined the military, serving as a Galley Captain for the Navy Reserve in Belle Chasse for 15 years. He later moved into the healthcare sector, serving as an Executive Chef for hospitals and medical centers throughout the New Orleans region including Ochsner, West Jefferson, and Tulane Medical Centers.

While the most popular dishes at The Café on 11 are the seafood gumbo and chicken marsala, Falls said his favorite dish to prepare is stuffed chicken with seafood dressing.

The Conference Centre on 11’s nearly endless capacity to configure spaces according to customers’ needs is one of its strengths and Falls said, “I look forward to seeing what lies next!”

The Conference Centre on 11 is optimally located across the street from the Hale Boggs Federal Building-Courthouse right in the middle of the “Poydras Corridor” featuring the Poydras Corridor Sculpture Exhibition – the South’s leading outdoor, rotating public sculpture exhibition since 2013.

The Helis Foundation, Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and The City of New Orleans Department of Parks and Parkways work together to bring these interesting and inspiring sculptures to the city.

Tourists exploring the outdoor sculptures, people working in the CBD, and anyone doing business in the area are all encouraged to pop up to the 11th floor of the iconic, 28-story Pan-American Life Center for a delicious lunch at The Café on 11 and a spectacular view of the city. With such a prime location, along with wonderful catering options, modern, customizable spaces, and the opportunity to work with a world-class chef like Falls, who could resist saying, “Let’s meet up at The Conference Centre on 11!”
