The 78th Annual LMTA Convention

The Louisiana Motor Transport Association hosted the 78th Annual LMTA Convention in Pensacola Beach on Aug. 3-5. During the convention members and their families enjoyed a golf tournament, raffles, beach time and most importantly — discussions of the future for the trucking industry as well as innovations to the organization with new Executive Director, Chance McNeely leading the way.

From new board member installations to a congressional speaker to a national trucking association presentation, LMTA allied and trucking members joined together to discuss, learn and determine new pathways to reshaping the industry, including infrastructure funding, LMTA membership contributions, tort reform, the driver shortage and the upcoming 2019 election.
