The Frontier has announced they will be bringing together the innovative industrial community for the 2nd Annual Frontier Conference, which will be held at Contemporary Arts Center, in New Orleans from April 11 to April 13, 2018.
"Our goal is to bring key leaders and stakeholders together from a range of critical sectors to collaborate and discuss key themes impacting the future of industrials," said Hank Torbert, founder of The Frontier Conference.
For The Frontier 2018, the event expands its focus to include several additional key industrial innovation topics, some of which include Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics and Mobility. "We believe that these additions are as critical as they are timely… these are technologies that will have a profound impact on how we do things in industrials," said Mr. Torbert.
Tim DeSilva, co-founder of The Frontier Conference, said "our goal is to build upon the first year and showcase even more organizations developing emerging technologies. From IoT and drones to mixed reality and blockchain technologies, we'll see many innovations continue to blend together as they help industrials evolve."
The focus of the Frontier Innovation in Industrials Conference is to bring key industry leaders together to cross-pollinate ideas and innovations within the world's major industrial sectors.
The Frontier hosted their inaugural event in April 2017. With over 170 attendees from 100 companies representing 20 states, the conference focused on eight major disciplines of emerging technologies. Some of these categories included energy, transportation, water management, clean tech, chemicals and manufacturing, with executives participating from Shell, Bechtel, Intralox, Baker Hughes, JPMorgan, General Electric, IBM, NASA among many others.
