Founded in 1957 as American Tile and Terrazzo Company, Inc. by Northern Italian immigrants who believed that through hard work and the terrazzo craft, they could become successful businessmen in North America, Terrazzo Masters has become the premier high-end flooring and design firm in Jefferson Parish, led by Partner/President Clyde P. Martin III, a Brother Martin and University of New Orleans alumnus, who also serves as a Board member of the National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association and the Southeast Terrazzo Association.

Today, the Terrazzo Masters team offers custom flooring in schools, churches, government, retail, commercial, and residential buildings. A non-porous flooring solution that is easy to clean and customize, terrazzo does not support microbial growth, nor does it allow moisture to accumulate, contributing to a mold-free, healthy environment, providing lower maintenance costs over decades of use. With a new, increased resurgence in the residential and retail markets, Terrazzo Masters has created a Terrazzo Design Studio, open to builders, architects, and designers, to help customers develop their own signature color formula and patterns.
