A full-service pest control company catering to residential, commercial, and hospitality industry needs, Terminix has been locally owned since 1947. The company has been internationally recognized for its Formosan termite research and treatment techniques. The late founder, Eddie Martin, Jr., entomologist, was elected into the Pest Control Hall of Fame, which recognizes leaders and pioneers in the pest management industry nationwide.

Today, the founder’s grandson, Joe Martin, serves as Terminix’s Board-Certified Entomologist—he and his staff constantly research new products and technology with a mission to provide the public a safe and healthy pest free environment. Upper management includes Vincent Palumbo, President, Joe Martin, Entomologist & Managing Partner, Terry Bruno, General Manager, Tony Gugliuzza, VP of Marketing & Sales, and Bonnie Sidora, Chief Financial Officer. Collectively, this team offers 140 years of experience in the industry and oversees management of Terminix’s three branches: Southshore, Northshore, & River Parishes.

The largest private/locally owned pest control company in the metro area, Terminix is a member of local, state, and national pest control associations. The company is proud to support several charities within the community and are also supporters of City Park, Audubon Park, and the Zoo.

As a past Chairman of the Jefferson Business Council, Palumbo is glad to see area businesses thrive and allow residents the opportunity to provide a decent standard of living for themselves and their families.

“Terminix would not be where we are today if it were not for our employees,” says Palumbo. “Many have been with us for 30+ years, and their experience allows us to provide the high level of professionalism we seek to maintain.”
