HARVEY, LA ― Santa Paws is coming to town, and he wants to take a photo with you and your pup to assist the region’s largest no-kill shelter in saving abandoned and homeless animals this holiday season.
Holiday Pet Portraits with Santa Paws will be taken on Friday, Nov. 25, at Superior Honda, 1845 Westbank Expy. in Harvey, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Let your four-legged friends pose with Santa Paws for a solo short, or take a portrait of the whole family to add some holiday spirit to your mantle. Families will receive a printed 4 x 6 portrait to take home, and a digital version with photo frame by e-mail following the event for a $15 donation to Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO).
“On a day marked as the beginning of the holiday shopping season, we wanted to offer our community an opportunity to give back and spend time with their loved ones to kick off the holidays instead,” said Superior Honda Owner, Clay Holcomb. “We admire Animal Rescue New Orleans’ dedication to each and every animal in need, and couldn’t have asked for a better partner to support this season.”
All proceeds will benefit ARNO’s mission to foster, adopt and reunite pets with caretakers as well as spaying and neutering all companion animals through their no-kill shelter. Superior Honda will match each donation, up to $2,500, to provide extra aid to ARNO’s mission.
“We are so grateful to Superior Honda for their generosity,” said ARNO Vice President Ginnie Baumann. “The holidays are an excellent time to recognize how much we cherish our pets by taking a lasting memory, and to help us find homes for all of the animals in need in the region.”
Each pup who is on the nice list will receive a special holiday treat bag generously provided by Jefferson Feed Pet & Garden Center.
Superior Honda on the West Bank has been servicing the greater New Orleans area in Harvey since 1973.
