MANDEVILLE, LA – Tracy Clanton, finance and operations manager for the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation (STEDF), recently earned two prestigious human resources certifications.

Clanton earned the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and the Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
These honors signify that Clanton demonstrated both practical experience and mastery of the body of knowledge in human resource management through the passing of rigorous examinations.
“I’ve been taking everything I learned through this process, the best practices and the innovative procedures, and implementing them for our employees,” Clanton said. “If I can use this new knowledge to better manage our personnel and better direct our nonprofit, then that’s what matters to me.”
