STEDF Announces Rain CII As Title Sponsor For Annual Luncheon

MANDEVILLE, LA – The St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation (STEDF) announced that Rain CII, a global leader in calcined petroleum coke, will serve as the title sponsor for the organization’s annual luncheon on Thursday, January 28, 2016.

         “Rain CII has been a welcome addition to the business community here in St. Tammany,” said Brenda Bertus, CEO of STEDF. “We are honored that this globally-recognized company has sponsored our luncheon and continues to be an invaluable partner in economic development.”

         STEDF leads economic development in St. Tammany Parish, attracting new businesses and employment opportunities to the area. The organization seeks to improve parish residents’ quality of life by strengthening and supporting the business climate.

         Bertus said the annual luncheon will give STEDF the opportunity to highlight its achievements and successes for 2015 and to recognize several companies and individuals with awards for their activities within St. Tammany.

         At the 2014 Annual Luncheon, Rain CII received the Economic Development Project of the Year award.

         Doors will open for registration at 11:30 a.m. at the Northshore Harbor Center, 100 Harbor Center Blvd., in Slidell, and the program will last from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

         A reserved table for eight will cost $500.

         Reserved tables guarantee premium seating.

         Cash and checks will be accepted at the door.

         Refunds are available until Monday, January 25, 2016.

         Individual tickets will cost $45 until Friday, January 8, 2016, when the cost will rise to $50.
