St. Tammany Fishing Pier Opens March 1

SLIDELL – The St. Tammany Fishing Pier will reopen two weeks from today on Thursday, March 1 at 7 a.m., after a three-month seasonal closure.

On opening day for the spring season, admission will be free to everyone who comes out to fish or visit the pier.

Regular admission after opening day is as follows:

-$3 to fish for all patron 12 years of age and older

-$1 to visit the pier and sight see.

-$1 on Thursdays for senior citizens, active duty military and veterans.
